Project Description

Fife free-standing dry stone walls

This was the latest job for a client in Fife. He has a party zone in an old farm shed on his property with benches and fire pit. The shed has an open side to it and he asked if I could build a couple of walls to act as a bit of a wind break. And he just likes looking at dry stone work. How could I say no?!

Alston stone from Cumbria was used for the walls, supplied by Border Aggregates.

We have used Stone Inspired for a number of Projects in our garden over a number of years now, including terracing, retaining and standalone walls. Project for 2019’is a Japanese Garden with terraces, stone bridges, pools and waterfalls. Jason’s walls are a thing of beauty and give us hours of enjoyment. Great skill and craftsmanship. Would definitely recommmend.
