Project Info
Project Description
I built the original garden terrace and steps for these clients in 2003. It was one of my first jobs as a professional waller.
Last year they contacted me to say that the new conservatory they were going to get installed was going to be too close to the wall. They asked me to come in and remove the old wall – which I did – and plan to build a new terrace and steps – which I did!
The old garden terrace wall was made from Denfind stone which fared very poorly over the years with much of the stone flaking and breaking up. This will not be an issue with the Alston stone we used to make the new wall.
The Alston stone was supplied by Border Aggregates, and the paving by CED stone group .
