Pizza oven base

My next commision for the client in FIfe was building a stone base for a pizza oven

The design incorporated two arches and a wide platform on top to hold the weight of the pre-fabricated oven which weighed 600kg.

I also made a small fire-pit surround for a cast iron kadai, In addition to the pizza oven base.

The stone is from Alston in Cumbria, and supplied by Border Aggregates in Kelso. The Alston flag stones were supplied by CED in Allandale.
