Fibonnacci dry stone bench, planter and paving – Midlothian

Rosewell – dry stone bench, fire pit and planters

The client provided me with a rough sketch for a bench and planter that he wanted for his garden. I went away and refined it a bit to give this curving, fibonacci-esque design. I built the bench, fire-pit and planters with Alston stone from Cumbria. Alston crazy paving used for the American-style paved area.

A base for a new shed was added after the bench was completed using some spare stone and some more of the paving.
