Perth dry stone retaining walls

On this job in Perth, I built three low retaining stone walls measuring some 48m in length. The walls followed the curving path in the client’s garden, and so they make for a very pleasing feature. Working up the slope presented me with some interesting challenges – keeping the horizontal courses going was fun.

The stone is Swinton rubble from Hutton Stone Co in Berwick.
